Dome of Visions is a temporary space-in-between. It positions itself as a suggestion on how to create vibrant life in urban environments and their cracks. Be it the cultural center, the construction site, a time between night and day, a place between the conscious and the subconscious, a state of mind between dream and reality, a state of matter between gas, liquid, plasma and solid, or the spaces between the you and the me, in the city.

Dome of Visions is a place that seeks to inspire and collect visions and ideas for the future. It is a place that will try to see the positive angles after the impact of the financial crisis, rather than follow a dystopian mindset. It’s a place that will try to inspire bold new takes on the possibilities after the crisis, in an effort to try and bend the hardship into elusive opportunities. It is a place that lets people dare to imagine a brighter future than normally meets the eye in post crisis world.

The Dome of Visions offers itself to everyone ranging from underground movements to international networks. There will be performances, concerts, mini festivals, workshops, talks, dinners, and pop-up parties. The vision for the stage, or what could be called the artistic or cultural angle, aims at putting poetry and the sensuous at the centre of the experience. Occupying an empty space in the city, this temporary building allows the creation of a creative gap in the heart of the city, where artists, entrepreneurs, local enthusiasts, and international networks can meet and share their passions. Dome of Visions provides room for experiments on a large scale. New worlds can be sought and found; great visions can be unfolded and manifested.

  • A fine visionary exhibition about living green, at the port of Copenhagen. The exhibition moves in 2016 to Aarhus.

  • When I went trip down at Copenhagen port, I saw a mærkeliglig building so the I had when straight into and examine a little closer. I do not think it was anything special, a little strange, but I'm probably not their target audience either:-D Down in the corner there was a yellow House as exhibition and when I opened the door I was about to throw up, because the stench. Staff said they thought it had something to do with the mixture as the House stood on and so the Sun that heated the mixture. The most positive element that is at the Dome of Visions, is the view from the water/location.

  • It is a very special place. The atmosphere is very relaxed, inside is full of vegetation, extraneous spaces, peaceful. When we were there a teacher giving dance lessons to one greater marriage and in the part of above an exhibition of photographs. We take a couple of beers and also the views are great.

  • This is such a lovely chill out place. It's so warm (sometimes hot) inside, drinks are reasonably priced. Seats are always available, friendly staffs; and you can move the chairs or tables to wherever you want. Choose your favourite spot and have a perfect afternoon there.
  • Great innovative venue. Highly recommended
  • a really cool biodome with a fun little bar! a utopia with many plants inside and a wonderful space to escape the cold. Sometime live music!!
  • Interesting little place to chill inside, but nicer to sit out on the water outside!
  • A place which is worth experiencing. The building is decorated like a greenhouse and their coffee a good 😊
