  • The main building of the University is located near Copenhagen Cathedral. The University was founded in the second half of the 15th century and is the oldest in Denmark. In addition, to date, considered the best in Scandinavia. For tourists is closed, except for a single day of the year-at night, when you can freely stroll the many facilities, as well as accompanied by students become familiar with the campus. Inside blows the spirit of antiquity, many of the elements of decoration for centuries.

  • Located in a pedestrian area, do not go for it! Very nice architecture, but especially the Interior is to see so it is impressive! Free entrance, very beautiful paintings, large staircases, halls... Magic!

  • The university building for the Copenhagen University certainly is full of history in itself and what a better way to absorb the history. The entry to the building is fascinating and worthy of a visit...  more »

  • Main entrance was closed but the side entrance lead to the inner court yard with very traditional Danish housing comprising the campus. Got benches and trees as shade for resting your legs and an afternoon read. A street down from the east exit leads to some fine cafes and book stores selling both Danish and English books with discount prices (mostly 1960s sci-if and Dickens crime stories)
  • I was invited by my Danish friend to the graduation of her niece. It was nice and there were students from all over the world, diversity:-)
  • The best university in DK.
  • A well known university.
  • Fantastisk smuk på ydersiden såvel som på indersiden.
