Changing of her Majesty's guard at Amalienborg Castle, Copenhagen

(3.2/5 based on 400+ reviews on the web)
Watch Changing of her Majesty's guard at Amalienborg Castle in the square in front of the four identical Rococo royal palaces. Every day the guards march from their barracks by Rosenborg Castle through the city streets to arrive at Amalienborg at noon. There are three different types of watches that can be put into place to secure the palace, and the size of the fanfare of this ceremony depends the type of watch in place (this varies according to which members of the royal family are currently residing in the palace). The king's watch is the only one with the Danish flag present. Larger watches are joined by the music and tambour corps. • Let's say I though nothing of that Council to stop and see it as it is very distinctive. It all happens shortly before 12 with band in tow.

  • The changing of the guards at the Amalienborg Palace is performed twice a day. 12 and 16: 00 can be seen to that. Early invaded the chapel on the square, rotates a round by the equestrian monument and plays then some eyelids and then moves away. The actual replacement takes place in the port. It is worth something more to go to, since then many visitors sing.
