For a free lesson about Denmark's rich plant life, visit Botanical Garden, an oasis of greenery in the city's central district. The extensive park encompasses more than 10 hectares (24 acres) and serves both educational and recreational purposes. A complex of 27 greenhouses are historic buildings from the 1870s that now shelter domestic and exotic plant species, including palms, cacti, orchids, and begonias. A special climate-controlled greenhouse recreates the habitat suitable for growing Arctic plants, while another building protects a large collection of cycad plants, some of which are more than a century old. Gorgeous views, plenty of amazing plant species and even some real frogs in the glass house! This is such a lovely garden for a relaxing stroll of a picnic. Would 100% go again.

Well worth paying to go into the palm house which is massive (and if you know Kew Gardens in London, it is very similar). Nice sun terrace outside too

The Botanic Garden in Copenhagen is a great location for a walk within the city. We spent about half an hour here but you could easily spend longer by going inside the glasshouse.

Beautiful Botanical Garden! Came here with my sister and wasn't disappointed. lovely collection of plants that are named with information boards. In the centre of the green house you have the opportunity to climb some beautiful stairs and walk across the top canopy. Very relaxed visit and not massively busy that it ruins the experience. Easy to find surrounded by many different tourist attractions.

The best pay for attraction in the city! We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the butterfly room, to see loads flying around. Would really recommend making some time to visit.

Oh, what an amazing places to relax. If you enjoy nature and being surrounded by magnificent plants you need to be here. There are many additional green houses to visit such as Butterfly house or Tropical one but you need to pay the fee. Loved that garden - go.
-
Beautiful outdoor space in front of the museum. Species from all over the world meticulously planted. Loved that there are labels on some of the species. Also there are little mazes/paths through the garden.
-
Amazing place for everyone. One can see amazing plants such as a huge bamboo almost coming through the roof, bananas, and carnivores. Butterfly house is a one-time experience, but be careful with the freely flying butterflies.
