Theme Park Water / Amusement Park
Stroll among open-air restaurants, ice cream and cotton candy booths, dancers, live music, and many rides at Bakken - World's Oldest Amusement Park--oldest amusement park in Denmark. The park hosts the cabaret girls that have been singing and dancing at Bakkens Hvile since 1877. Take a trip on a ghost train, through a tunnel of love, or on-board an old-fashioned, wooden roller coaster. Adventurous visitors will like the faster attractions, such as the mine train and spinning tornado coaster. Children can ride the carousel, twirling tea cups, and Mini Dumbo. No cars are allowed in the park, only bicycles and horse drawn carriages. • There were too many people that day because there was a discount on rides But seems there is some charm of the Hill and a more relaxed atmosphere than in Tivoli (Tivoli is also super good but in a different way) it is a long time since I've been there but also find eateries are upgraded-quality-so possible st find good food in there too. Good rides – but surely it is almost a must for such a place and good mood are Thomas

  • We went with three children, 8, 10, 13, and they really got value for åkbandspengarna! There were lots of attractions that suited them all three. Big plus that the queues were short, even though we were there in the middle of the holiday season. Free to enter. Many dining options, but none on quality of the food. Extremely good churros! On the minus side to the whole place gives a run-down impression and that safety does not appear to be the highest priority.

  • Visited today the hill which we haven't visited for 5 years. The experience is average. The impression is that many rides are worn, or works-esque backdrop. The Park seems cluttered in expressions. For example, forlystelsen-The Wild Mouse-inside behind the façade takes you into the circus bingo, and a mat of gray concrete. It's sad to look at, compared to other forlystelsesparkter in Denmark which really is adept at creating universes. Forlystelsen is entertaining, but unfortunately there are many jerks along the way in forlystelsen-not nice for the neck and back. It is hard to understand the system with maximum may try one leisure 10 times on turbånd. In the Polyp was more of the cars out of service when the hanger could not be locked and in general there were problems with closing mechanisms. There are many options for dining and goodies (ice cream and candy). There are many interesting wild rides. K is superbly made.

Where to stay in Copenhagen

Most of the hotels in Copenhagen are located in the central Vesterbro or hip Indre By areas, though there are many more adventurous (and somewhat more affordable) places to stay during your vacation. As in the rest of Denmark, accommodations in Copenhagen are quite expensive. If you're traveling on a tight budget, consider camping along the Mølleå River or staying in one of the city's many backpacker hostels. If you prefer an inexpensive hotel, explore options in the Helgolandsgade and Colbjørnsensgade neighborhoods. For a taste of Denmark's art scene, head to the up-and-coming Kongens Nytorv and Nyhavn areas. Travelers who like to stay outside of the main tourist areas should set their sights on one of the city's suburbs, like the northern section where you can stay at a beachfront hotel or on a houseboat.
