Amager Strandpark, Copenhagen
(4.5/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
Stroll, run, swim, skate, rent a kayak, or go diving at Amager Strandpark. An artificial island was added to the original beach in 2005, creating a lagoon with shallow-water areas suitable for children. Cross one of the three narrow bridges to get to the 2 km (1.24 mi) long island. The northern section of the island features sandy beaches and sand dunes. The southern section offers recreation grounds, playing fields, a picnic site, and a promenade. Amenities include a small marina and parking facilities. • Outside of Copenhagen but there absolutely take a detour! Reachable by metro, on the same line as the Airport (15 minutes from downtown). That's all just beautiful, especially at sunset. One has a view over the Bay, and at night we can see the lights reflected in the sea. Very nice point of view, in the face of the Sweden and the Øresund bridge. Go down the long pontoon for a view 360 ° on the North Sea. Diving is also, even winter (as the real Danish! That gives life)

  • Cozy place to stroll. The area is artificially built up, and you go on some small islands. And there is a nice lagoon, which is mainly used for sport. In summer there is hectic badeliv and many activities.

  • with the Metro, you can go to the AmagerStrand, so it connects city, culture and a beach trip soon
