  • We went on a guided tour and they told us it was interesting, but what there is to see leaves to be desired, the truth, especially taking into account that it was declared as a cultural heritage by UNESCO. They could do more to show how the population lived, who they were, etc.

  • We made a detour and arrived in Christiansfeld, because you have read, that this object from the list of heritage sites. Expect to see crowds of tourists, or at least minimal hikers where one could dine. But at 6 pm on the streets here have been no-literally! -man. No door is open. No bar or restaurant. Not talking about souvenir shops, there's no genre. But it might be better-the city retains its strict religious spirit and its authenticity. And definitely, it has a special atmosphere (like it or not, another conversation, but UNESCO's heritage list like and seeks to preserve not only the historical walls, but also the atmosphere).

  • Take the time to enjoy the silence, watch movies about the city and the Moravians, visit the chapel in the House and the Museum under the roof.

  • Valuable to Danish history and very beautiful, but not a full day excursion 😉
