They could do more to show how the population lived, who they were, etc.

Expect to see crowds of tourists, or at least minimal hikers where one could dine. But at 6 pm on the streets here have been no-literally! -man. No door is open. No bar or restaurant. Not talking about souvenir shops, there's no genre. But it might be better-the city retains its strict religious spirit and its authenticity. And definitely, it has a special atmosphere (like it or not, another conversation, but UNESCO's heritage list like and seeks to preserve not only the historical walls, but also the atmosphere).
