  • We made a detour and arrived in Christiansfeld, because you have read, that this object from the list of heritage sites. Expect to see crowds of tourists, or at least minimal hikers where one could dine. But at 6 pm on the streets here have been no-literally! -man. No door is open. No bar or restaurant. Not talking about souvenir shops, there's no genre. But it might be better-the city retains its strict religious spirit and its authenticity. And definitely, it has a special atmosphere (like it or not, another conversation, but UNESCO's heritage list like and seeks to preserve not only the historical walls, but also the atmosphere).

  • Take the time to enjoy the silence, watch movies about the city and the Moravians, visit the chapel in the House and the Museum under the roof.

  • This town is on the Unesco World Heritage list, but to be honest I did not find it amazing like I often do with other attractions on that list. True, the buildings are well maintained and quite nice, ...  more »
