  • A combination of old house & modern extension there are often special exhibiitons. This is important because if as I did, you went to see Danish art masterpieces by Hammershoi, these may be not in the...  more »
  • Fine less manageable museum with selected beautiful pictures from the 19th century. and the beginning of the 20th century. century. The Museum is built around a nice Mansion from 1918. Definitely worth a visit.

  • Then came the visit of Finn Juhl museum. Nice exhibition with beautiful Danish design and art. Is a little hidden in the forest, but a beautiful summer day so open it up when you come in to the Museum.

  • Lovely museum with sculpture in the garden, all accessible (some of the garden paths are a bit boggy) except Finn Juhl house (which is amazing - the layout of which makes you wonder if he had a cook or was it just in the days before open plan kitchen-living rooms). 388 bus or easy ride from Klampenborg station or stroll through the deer Park. Onsite cafe with smørrebrød and French press coffee.
  • Beautiful buildings, great outside art playground (free), nice cafe but expensive admission fees.
  • Wonderful buildings in beautiful surroundings. The art was fascinating and beautifully displayed particularly the permanent exhibitions. I would have given this museum five stars except for one very negative part - as per most museums you have to view behind a barrier but if you have bi focals or are short sighted you cannot see the detail in the pictures. My friend and I had to lean forward to view and a very rude guard told us off for getting too close. He was unnecessary blunt and rude and put us off a lot. Couldn't see the rest of the exhibition in details so that was disappointing. Also on revisiting one part we ran into another rude guard because we weren't displaying our 'spot' tickets well enough. One of us had put a jumper on and the other had mistakenly hidden hers behind the museum brochure. Again, unnecessarily rude and obnoxious. Was so surprised I was lost for words!! How to put off paying customers!!!!! So beware - don't put a foot wrong here. Could learn some courtesy!!!!
  • came here for zaha hadid and didn't expect so much more fun! the outdoor area is spiced up by art installations and it's an ideal place to spend an afternoon. food was sold out when i arrived the cafe but the staff friendlily suggested other things still available. worths the 50min commuting from my airbnb!
  • Loved the art selection there. I was there for the Monet. They keep changing the exhibit. Definitely worth a visit if you are biking nearby. It cost something but it is free on certain days. Do make sure to check the website before you plan.
