  • Cool Interactive museum about the bunker and the west coast of Denmark. Beautiful amber collection and good storytelling about amber  more »
  • This museum has five parts: The bunker, the mines, the landscape and culture, the people and amber. This is a bit overwhelming and not really logical. The bunker is impressive, the mine section is...  more »
  • The museum has a radical layout in that it cuts into the dunes and melts into the landscape very well. Adjacent to it is the German WW2 bunker that was built to house a couple of large cannons (not...  more »

  • Educational and interesting visit. It can get a bit "real" at times, so perhaps not for the youngest kids. But a well made exhibit with lots of interactions. Remember a pair of headphones with mini jack - your ears will thank you later.
  • Beautiful designed museum by BIG architects. I really loved the interactive exhibitions and how you get information via the audio set. We learned a lot about the WW2 in Denmark and the how life was in bunkers in general. Very impressed by the scale of the bunker itself. Tip: you can walk around the museum in the dunes and enjoy the nature.
  • Loved the architecture and the design of the museum. It’s a little bit pricey, but if you’re staying in Blåvand for longer, it’s worth it. The entire tour will take around two to three hours, so I recommend only checking out the sections you’re interested in. The audio guides are of high quality, but it’s not always easy to tell where to go (in the bunker, arrows are available, but they don’t always prevent confusion). In many cases however, it doesn’t really matter too much.
  • Although the bunker was never finished and the guns were never installed, this part of the German Atlantic Wall still is quite intimidating. Expect a fine audio tour instead of text. Wait for the impressive 4d movie. Bonus: the collection of amber, found on the westcoast of Denmark.
  • Great visit. Lots of interesting well presented exhibits. Food at cafe was very good too
