  • This island is very charming, but pretty much everything was closed and opened the first of the 1/4. We took the ferry over and had planned to rent a bike and run around a bit. Bike rental was closed, so we settled for walking around in the old charming part of Ærøskøbing. We were totally breathtaking of this charm. The old merchant's House was open and it is well worth a visit. Charming cafe and shop. A pity that there are no more open and a faster ferry to and from the island-but the two things are probably together. We would like to sacrifice three hours on the ferry crossing again a second time, but then it should be in the opening hours and it is difficult, because the season is quite short
