(3.8/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
The haunted house, illusion factory, and 5-D cinema are just a few of the 40 attractions at one of Denmark's oldest amusement parks, Tivoli Friheden. There are many rides to choose from that vary in intensity. Try the swings for elevated views of the surrounding park, play a round of mini golf on the 12-hole course, or brave the rough seas on the imitation pirate ship. • Nice sunny day in Freedom. The visit was initiated by the very long wait at the ticket office, since we had overlooked that there were X-factor show on stage pretty much at the same time as we came. Good experience for the family with small children. We've got persuaded teenage kids to we all must have season tickets in order to have the opportunity to come in and hear music at the Fed on Friday. The doctrine, however, must be, to get in good time when there is music on stage, as it can take a long time to get into.

  • This theme amusement park is on the edge of the Marseliborg Forest, yet still within walking distance of the city centre. There are about 40 different rides, 4 roller coasters and one water ride, and ...  more »
  • ... on family outing with a family from 1-86 years. Everyone has it just fun. Good ice cream, good entertainment, cozy park, foreseeable that leaked alone around the Middle children. We get turbillet. A minus is that it tests for height, not by age. So it's hard not to be high.

  • I visited in the off-season. Not recommended. Was expecting less waiting at the rides since the lines would be shorter. That was not the case. They had one employee serving 2-3 rides so you had to wait till he was done with the other two before it came to your ride. That is if there was enough people cause a lot of the rides had a minimum of riders. Otherwise the place was great. You can get beer at the kiosks, the landscape was appealing, rides were fun. There was a shortage in parking spaces. If you intend to do more than 2 rides, don't buy tickets, buy a day pass.
  • Rigtigt hyggeligt sted med få mangler.
  • Nice small amusement park in the center of Aarhus. Definitely one of the signature locations in Aarhus and something one must see. A bit expensive though.
  • This amusement park is really nice and cozy. Even in the high season the lines are at a low. They have a lot of different rollercoasters and also a lot for children. Furthermore also a really great minigold track. Would definitely recommend this cozy park.
  • Old school vibe maxed out. So chill.
