  • Steno Museum has under #opfinderforendag added Museum new life with lots of dedicated guides who tell and enable visitors to explore the natural scientific universe children. Here is a pastime for several hours, and if you get hungry there is a small cafe where you for small money gets a big piece of cake!

  • The parts of this museum that are good are great - the medicinal garden and sections on space and history of science are fantastic. However, I would say the medical and pathological exhibitions were creepy at best and downright terrifying at worst. It may be cultural sensitivity on our part as we're from the UK, but I found myself quite quickly wanting to leave. I wouldn't recommend taking children - I don't think this would be child friendly. Overall, it's an honest museum - it doesn't pull any punches. However, to actually enjoy it you would need a very strong constitution.
  • It is a waste of money and time to go there .. the history of science part is closed and it is not even mentioned on the website .. all labels are in Danish so as a tourist you won't understand anything.
  • Great museum!
  • Informativ, interesting and fun
  • The medical exhibition is exciting. Secondly, the need to update and would like more vivid narrative. Full moon night is a not worth your time and money on. Who lacked the scientific approach and the tale of the night sky and the Moon (which is included in the event name). I come not to hear old Greek anecdotes are not scientific but only myths. A huge disappointment to participate in

Where to stay in Aarhus

For a price, you can stay close to the main sights of this charming city at one of the many hotels located in Aarhus' historical old town. While it may feel like a romantic small town with its cobbled streets, accommodations here, especially centrally located options or hotels along the marina, are just as expensive as in many other Scandinavian cities. Moderately priced hotels and hostels are limited, so if you are traveling on a budget, book early at a spot outside the city center. For nature lovers passing through the city, there are also campgrounds located near Aarhus in the beautiful surrounding forests.
