  • This library is amazing, it is such an inspiring place. There is lot's of corners with comfortable chairs inviting you to read a book or a magazine. There is a whole floor for children to play at and ...  more »
  • It's the main public library, but it'seems much more. Placed at the waterfront, huge, different, exciting playgrounds for kids, restaurant. It's got everything. Worth a visit
  • Historian who reviewed Aarhus with the curiosities that come with the city. We ended up here at the library and there is a Bell that rings in a kind of feat, when there is born a little new. Parents can even press the button inside the hospital and at the library, it can then be heard. A beautiful and nice idea. There are views of the harbor and the place for children. A good place to be seen.

  • One of the best libraries in the world. I often study there and do my research, but you might have problems doing that if you require complete silence. There are private rooms which you can book though. This is a very inspirational place for me and I love how everyone can use it, even if you have a kid there is lots of play areas. If you need a quick study break, you can take a walk inside, play table hockey or foosball, play Xbox or PS4, what ever. Best place in Aarhus by far. I would really like for it to work through the night.
  • It's more of a place to read than to study if studying, for you requires extra silence and attention. It's quite noisy always. Few silent rooms so you've got to grab a seat early in those places. The architecture and design is just awesome. It overlooks the harbor giving you a nice scenery outside. Books to read, scene to enjoy and design to relish. What else do you want? :)
  • Best library in the world. Kids, elders, youngsters, entrepreneurs, everyone has a space to thrive there.
  • This is a must visit in Aarhus. Very interesting architecture. It's not like any other library. There's a small cozy cafe, and the view from the terrace is awesome.
  • Interesting library. Too bad you need to follow so many steps to use the free wifi.
