The Botanical gardens greenhouses in the middle of Aarhus belong to an absolute cultural attraction. An experience for the senses, which offers many lifelike visual and auditory impressions as well as the opportunity to experience research. Forms of a dry, hot and air-damp climate in the dedicated 4 distinct and beautiful areas. The diversity of nature's flowers and plants from around the world is breathtaking. Been here a few times, lately in Oct. 2019, and shall, in particular, keep of the basin with water cans. Partly because of the beauty of the arrangement and partly because the place stimulates a rest in the beautiful surroundings, which awakens memories of previous travels in the tropics. Previously, there was a living in the basin of the dreaded and carnivore pirate fish. But not today, because instead they have replaced them with a herbivore type because of pushy guests. There is ample opportunity to get to know tales and answers to questions about plants and flowers from all over the world. And if you report hungry, thirst and/or urge something sweet, the onsite café can be warmly recommended. In the dark winter time, the interior lighting of the glassfish spreads a cosy atmosphere around them in the closest planting from the botanical garden. At the same time, lighting can make it easier for first time visitors using Peter Holm's way to find the place. The parking facilities are convenient and close by. And there's free entrance for everyone. Highly worth a visit.View original

Really great place. The temperature is pretty alike to the original place where the plants are from. The desert climate has sand and desert related temperatures and plants. Likewise for other climates too. Good description for the trees and free space and time to navigate and learn about things at your own free will

Such a wonderful place and I'm amazed it's free. The grounds are beautiful and green houses contain some really colourful and interesting plants. The main greenhouse has a great tree house. There is a cafe on site which sells alcoholic drinks, hot meals and ice cream. The greenhouses are situated within close walking distance to the central part of the city and is definitely worth a visit. We spent around an hour there but could have spent longer if we had more time.

These flowers are so stunning! These types of flowers and plants are found at the botanical gardens. We went on a rainy day and so there were less tourists visiting. We enjoyed casually walking around. I love smelling the flowers and taking in all the gorgeous nature.

I love botanical gardens and try to visit them wherever I go. This one in Aarhus is really nice. The spectacular dome greenhouse is one of the eye catchers of the city. Free entrance and good design of routes let's you wander for about 30 till 60 minutes if you'd like. It's not very big, but it's been taken care of really well. It's great for kids and has a nice coffee place.

The place was amazing. And it's free. Be prepared for hot air in tropical dome. But it' very beautiful there.
