Visit to Aarhus for the Triennale Aros, we made a mistake of course and we found ourselves in the beautiful park of the University of Aarhus. A place infinitely based, with two small lakes, serene spaces where arise everywhere. The modernist design of brick of the University is considered to be exemplary. Even the output air ventilation have the pleasant appearance of mini-cabanes. Aahrus, created in 1928 but built from 1931, University is the 2nd of the Denmark with an attendance of approximately 38 000 students. Its different spaces of life and scholarship make it a campus unique, dynamic and consistent, always pleasing to the eye and peaceful. Its typically Danish light yellow brick architecture so that you can differentiate the older buildings of the newest, their homogeneity is perfect. Its outdoor spaces are open to all audiences.

The University with the included park is one of the great experiences in the city. Originally begun for 70-80 years ago, but still with a harmonious and aesthetic impression with the many yellow faculty buildings. always an experience with a slente return for visitors and students.

Where to stay in Aarhus

For a price, you can stay close to the main sights of this charming city at one of the many hotels located in Aarhus' historical old town. While it may feel like a romantic small town with its cobbled streets, accommodations here, especially centrally located options or hotels along the marina, are just as expensive as in many other Scandinavian cities. Moderately priced hotels and hostels are limited, so if you are traveling on a budget, book early at a spot outside the city center. For nature lovers passing through the city, there are also campgrounds located near Aarhus in the beautiful surrounding forests.
