The zoo is home to approximately 138 species and over 1,200 individual animals. See the sculpture "the good bargain" from 1925 at the entrance, which was donated to the zoo from the Urban brewery. • Can really like to get into the zoo, it's a perfect day where you can have fun with the family. That is so neat and nice one can bring his own food and grilling

  • After having wandered around in a couple of hours and seen on many exciting animal it was time for food. Big downturn that it was just "junk" in which almost everything was fried and everything came with a load of fries. Aside from the food, it seems that most of the animals are doing well and are being taken good care of. Plus for the nice play area in the middle of the Park. Recommended for all.

  • Aalborg zoo was a really good experience, where you experience the animals in good surroundings. We were away with our little boy and are delighted to use our annual pass again

  • It is a very nice experience, especially for children. They have a wide variety of animals, and different entertainment for children. You can also bbq in the zoo, or just have a nice picnic. Eating at their restaurants (they have a few) might be a bit expensive though.
  • Good layout, great animal welfare. Dogs are welcome pretty much everywhere!
  • In 2015 it was voted the best zoo Europe (in the category of less then 500.000 visitors) Very child friendly with a centerpiece of a very large playground which is very popular among the kids
  • Fair quality of animals. However, the attendants aren't very helpful
  • Nice clean zoo with very good standards for animals and great visitors' facilities. Enough to see for an afternoon's visit.
