  • The Moldau besides giving beautiful views from bridges that cross it to the famous Charles Bridge with its long irregular path embellished with sculptures and access towers, also has several islands. The most known is the peaceful Kampa which overlooks the Canal of the devil, known for its ancient water mill and the Museum. Great place to take a ride on a boat. Later on the bridge of the legionaries rests on the island of shooters, among the most beautiful garden, from which to admire Charles Bridge, Kampa Museum, the view of the Castle and Petrin or relax on the banks of the river. On the other side just before the Tancici dum there is a passage on the porch of the Manes gallery leading to the island of Slavic here you can rent a pedal boat or a rowboat so that you can enjoy an hour of navigating between the Islands and along the banks of the river enjoying more closely about his views. Don't forget to get on Letna crossing the Cechuv most from stairways that lead over the metronome there is a beautiful landscape of the Vltava River and its bridges. Same thing applies from the battlements of Vysehrad.

  • The Vltava (Moldau) is the River on which it stands Prague. Large and full of water even in August when I last visited the city is part of the landscape with its bridges, first and foremost the Karluv Most. Gave its name to a poem by Smetana and standing on deck to admire couldn't help but sing to accompany the placid waters. Nice especially the green side of Kampa.

  • You can see many of Prague's sights on a small cruise on the Vltava River. Most trips are multilingual and take approx. 1 hour. The ships pendulum between the two locks, but you get a good impression and desire to explore the old town on foot.
