If you are visiting Prague and want to dedicate a day to a different activity, view to the Terezín concentration camp is a good choice for lovers of recent history. Easily accessible by bus, is a journey of less than an hour. In our case, we went by tram station bus which is located between the stations of train and subway, called Holešovice. The Platform 7 bus heading to Litoměřice (LT) and you can get off at the stop next to the small fortress, or the next, in the village and old Terezín ghetto.

Visit the Terezín concentration camp. We relive the conditions in which the prisoners of the Nazi empire suffered before dying or moving to other extermination camps. Magnificent explanation of our Cuban Guide. We made a day of dogs but were impressed by this tour.

This historical field of honour with memorial stones is very impressive. The field of honour, that exudes simplicity, is very important for the descendants of overledenfamilieleden who are omgekomem, here is a site for the small fortress of Theresienstadt.

A very impressive and well preserved look at WWII atrocities, this concentration camp that was once a fake 'model camp' to show the Red Cross that all was good. Take a tour or visit on your own. You can also visit the Terezin ghetto and the neighbouring museum. Just about an hour's drive from Prague.

Impressive and scary at the same time. Have seen a very good command of German. It will be continued at this Memorial. Very authentic and tangible history of a cruel period.

Very interesting and the visit will not be boring. You can visit it all in an hour (fast) but it would be better to linger longer. The visit you can do it independently, buying a map in Italian that explains the various points of interest in sole 5 crowns.

Very impressive. We have made a very nice guide in German. Then, we were in the ghetto. The Museum is also very good. A village previously was still an ancient monastery, no idea whether man can see that. We had more that haven't had time for.
