  • It's located in Wenceslau Square, and it's like it's central point. Well, the avenue as a whole is a nice experience, easily reachable by subway. Would recommend a walk along it, especially if you're ...  more »
  • Revered Holy Vaclov, Prince and the distributor of the Christian faith in the masses, sits on his horse on the huge square named in his honour. Surprisingly, the monument looks not too monumental, though is the symbol of the State. Another striking fact I learned about him! Saint Ludmila (one of the four figures around Vaclova) was baptized Methodius himself! What with Cyril invented the Cyrillic alphabet.
