Wallenstein Garden, Prague

(4.6/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
Take a short breather from your tour of the city with a visit to Wallenstein Garden, a sprawling Baroque park on the left bank of the Vltava River. The palace, constructed in the early decades of the 17th century, now houses the country's senate and offers only limited access to visitors. The garden is open to the public daily, so you can stroll along its neat pathways or feed the ducks at its picturesque pond. Be sure to visit the "sala terrena," a richly decorated garden pavilion overlooking a fountain and a row of bronze statues representing figures from Greek mythology. Our Prague trip generator makes visiting Wallenstein Garden and other Prague attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • One of the most beautiful parks in Prague. Closed during the winter, it's less than 100m from the Malostranska metro station.
  • loved it. wish we had more time to explore. amazing piece of art on the wall
  • Recommend to visit when in Prague. One of the nicer parks. Strictly managed.
  • A beautiful garden to wander through: see the peacocks display their gorgeous tail feathers; watch koi carp and ducks in the pond; be amazed by the petrified wall; spot the owls; study the artwork and sculptures; and just, simply, relax. If you're lucky there may be a choir singing in the auditorium, which only adds to the atmosphere.
  • I can picture this in a movie that I saw and its crazy cause I thank Beethoven walk in that garden and its really beautiful to see it like it is its amazing
