  • Only came upon this garden by accident when I saw a gate in a wall and decided to have a look. It is a walled garden that dates back to the 13th century and it the oldest garden inn Prague. It is quit...  more »
  • These gardens are often overlooked for numerous crowds, exactly their lackluster and eternally half open gate guarded this realm of tranquility from the invasion. Gardens adjacent to the territory of the monastery and are famous not only for its avenues of Apple and cherry trees, tranquil pools with huge Asian carp and koi fish, but also freely roaming along the paths and lawns peacocks in countless numbers. Birds are beautiful and well-groomed, absolutely friendly, can even sit next to you on a white bench, and if you take with a wet millet-will be very happy to see you. Allow themselves to be photographed, I could even Pat a few times! The only thing they have to panic fear is little kids)), the Gardens are open every day all year round, and peacocks strolling here even in winter. But still, it's better, of course, admire them in summer, in the lush surroundings of greenery.

  • This is an amazing place. Like many others, I found it by accident. Pick some pears off the fruit trees, wash them off in the water, and eat them surrounded by peacocks and magpies and squirrels. It's...  more »

  • Seems like it's one of the best kept secrets of Prague. Very quiet, peaceful and lush green garden located around Lesser Square. We found it on our way back from the Prague Castle. I was right in the middle of the busy area having small entrance so it's hard to be noticed. When you enter you realize that it's a niche place to spend some time in a peaceful environment. Especially if you've got kids they would love the peacocks and plucking of fruits from the trees. There is no entrance fee and we saw hardly any people.
  • Nice garden with relaxed atmosphere, no entrance fee. Couple of peacocks lives here as well.
  • Its amazing how this hidden place is away from the crowds. Perfect spring view!
  • Amazing relaxing place! It´s hidden between buildings so it´s very silent place in the city centre. In the spring there are blooming magnolias, narcissus and fruit trees, some of them are very old.
  • Opravdu nádherné sady! Stále ale vede Františkánská zahrada :)
