  • Less famous and wanted than other czech attractions. The good side of it is that you'll find less crowded excursions over there.
  • If you're in Prague for more than a few days and want to see something quite out of the ordinary, you might want to take this relatively long trip to the other side of the Vltava. The bonus is that th...  more »
  • that was our goal that day - and Troja Castle was a first step in this direction. The castle was created at the time by one of the usual nobles as a sign of his greetings - we cover the mantle of love about it. Is preserved us lucky - a because of its beautifully landscaped baroque gardens, on the other hand due to its main hall. There are many ways of travel – bus, boat or car. We have chosen the latter - with Navi no problem, there are decent paved parking for little money (100 CZK / day). Sounds much but, when you consider that Castle, Zoo and Botanical Garden directly lie together, not real output. We also recommend visiting the other two. Therefore: we recommend this objective as a full day trip. At the entrance of the Castle, you get the opportunity, to purchase a combination ticket for 300 crowns - Castle (120 CZK) and Zoo (200 crowns) are thus ever-cheaper, and the Botanical Garden is also (and highly recommended). There is a German flyer with explanations of the works. The castle is used today by the Prague Academy of Arts, in that you get a mixture of old and new on the ground floor - through the rather inferior quality of the ancient works a nice ease. On the first floor can be found in the middle of the great Hall, which alone is worth the visit to the House - let it affect you, is really impressive. Otherwise: there is the direct view of the Prague Castle - this was also the sense of the building. Everything is very clean, the bar located in the Parg, is priced right, the cappuccino is very good. And as I said: don't forget Zoo and Botanical Garden!

  • Troja castle, the smaller, less famous castle in Prague, is made in sort of French Chateau style. Beautiful gardens to relax in, with the Vltava right next to it. Great for an afternoon stroll.
  • This place is amazing. The views here and the architecture itself. If you want a day to relax and enjoy some nice scenery, go here.
  • Nice castle to visit, exhibitions are being held inside. Little cafè also.
  • Nice building in nice surroundinds...
  • The current exhibition of glass art objects by V. Cígler is very interesting and fun. Besides that, the amazing frescoes in the interior are certainly worth seeing! Together with the zoo and botanical garden it makes a very well spent day in Prague.
