Housing the country's largest collection of modern and contemporary artwork, Trade Fair Palace provides a look at the evolution of European art over the last two centuries. Spread over three floors of a Functionalist building, a major attraction in and of itself, the gallery displays over 2,000 works by Czech and foreign masters. Take a self-guided tour of the collection to see masterpieces by Schiele, Klimt, Picasso, and van Gogh. The gallery also exhibits Alfons Mucha's celebrated series of 20 monumental paintings, depicting the history and mythology of the Czechs and other Slavic peoples living in this part of Europe. • Visits to Prague to go to see Mucha's paintings for the first time 12 years ago, local living in Japan who Gao because it is displayed in the ID's Prague epic things I heard at that time is one hour away by train from Prague Castle, hearing and it's going to look a bit messy, and was abandoned. You could see the Prague epic finally in the Prague National Museum (vereturgeney Palace) until the end of December this year. Weekday afternoon and say people are not so much, we watch carefully. Perhaps crowded is a thing that comes to Japan next year, but will be from the time seen here, happy. I would like to look forward to during this time came in the interest of time, could not see the permanent exhibition is.

  • Hezká galerie.
  • Went for the Slav Epic. It was epic. Buy the little guide, it's super informative about each painting. The museum is huge! Tons of paintings and sculptures we were hunting among them for the Picasso, van Gogh and Monet, but well worth it. Plan at least two hours for what I've mentioned at a minimum
  • Check out the Slav Epic. It's incredible.
  • Imoressiv collection of 20th cent. Art with a focus to cz and france. Partly very different quality but worth to visit for a day.
