  • I don't know what can be expected from a Museum of torture. Here describes the most common types (as there can also be found in books and magazines) plus a chance to see these tools up close. I don't know what we can expect more.

  • Fun place to visit if you're into that kind of thing. Not for the faint of heart!
  • Definitely worth the visit as entry ticket only 150 Kc. They have good variety and sizes of torture instruments from smallest to the most scary. Also all instruments have a picture to show the method of torture and explained in 5 languages including english, spanish, german, french, cesky etc. Excellent for both education purpose and also to just get scary feel of torure we see only in movies
  • Terrific collection of torture instruments along with detailed descriptions of the manner of use and the "crimes" for which they would generally be prescribed. Great insight into the fanaticism of Christianity in Europe during the middle ages.
  • The official museum website lists discounts for students and the possibilty two combine the wax with the torture museum. However, that's not true. There are NO discounts and there is no collaboration with any other museum.
  • Waste of time and money! It's very tiny museum and not that interesting even for 6 Euro. It's just 3 floors with couple of rooms on each. You'll not find most of the scenes from the website photo gallery, it just fakes. I even doesn't think that all the items are real and genuine. More likely they were made nowadays from pictures and books.
