Perched on top of a hill leading up to Prague's castle, this microbrewery produces a beer named after Saint Norbert, the founder of the Premonstratensian religious order. Originally established in 1628, the brewery shut its production down in 1907. Painstakingly restored and reopened nine decades later, the brewery now includes a modern restaurant, also named after Saint Norbert. Stop by for a meal and a glass of dark or amber beer, brewed according to regulations set by a purity law enacted in 1516.   • 4 days in Prague who, we decided to go the same 2 x in the Strahov Monstatic brewery. LC was with regard to food and drink LC and I was thrilled. Day 1 ordered LC is a soup and then Sparibs, the soup tasted bland, 10 minutes later has his opinion, and 1 / 2kg more salt in the soup could convince even the taste of the soup LC. I ordered my beef tartare, lovingly with onions and Knofl as a garnish and a yolk on the beef Tartar on it. A taste of madness, really very well prepared. To do this, we both drank a beaker Schwarzbier, a dream! So the main course for both Sparibs the beer crust, also per 2 glasses beer - just super! I get up the food what we get and LC wat also very very excited. Day 2: LC ordered this time a beer soup or something in the direction, what in has very enjoying. This time as a main course for LC a goose, very tasty - LC like the typical white Knödlen not so, because I have sacrificed myself then.   • We went to see the monastery of Strahov and us surprised this place. A brewery of craftsmanship with a terrace full of tables and dining rooms for celebrations. Very good beer. Helpful waiters
