  • They are excellent... authentic, made with art and clear, are expensive. Perhaps more expensive price should therefore have more than an artistic carving of sculpture is an artistic carving of puppet is to say you must have a final result that does not seek perfection but the effect, the sympathetic or the unfriendly character. Each puppet is a character from theatre one. you will probably want to buy one too expensive and you settle with another, but it's worth as a reminder and an example of an art so seductive that combines the mystery of the theatre with the sculptor. • This place is a little tricky to find, but worth it. Having stopped in a number of different puppet shops around town, there's no doubt that Truhlar's puppets are unique and handmade. The plaster ones...  more »
  • There are 3-4 stores like this in Prague, and having all the puppets high craft invoice, should be seen all carefully. The puppets are really beautiful, you will be surprised. Some have amazing mechanisms behind. The costs are not low, for a handmade marionette from 200 euros to rise. Some arrive safely at 500 euros and passes. Though really deserve, and are very different from those found in the many tourist shops at 10-30 euros, which are plastic and most likely made in china. Revenue then in these stores and let yourself fall in love!

  • Amazing shop and quite a lot of different kinds all hung up, can be a bit pricy but it's not something you can find just anywhere. Worth going in to have a look and admiring the craftsmanship.
  • Nice shop to visit. All marionets are made manually and are great quality!

Where to stay in Prague

As one of Europe’s main tourist destinations, Prague offers a selection of accommodations to match its popularity, from luxury hotels to very affordable hostels. For an authentic Prague experience, stay at one of the guesthouses or boutique hotels housed inside the city's historical buildings. You'll find many lodgings concentrated around the most popular sightseeing areas, such as the Old Town, the Lesser Town, and Prague Castle, but there are also a good number of them in other neighborhoods. The best way to make Prague feel like home is to rent a fully furnished apartment.
