  • An experience with the paintings and sculptures in the genre of Elves and forest Devils. Discovered this by a pure accident that turned into a fun experience. Two floors with color full paintings of magical art. Recommended for the art lovers. And as much as you want Sangria to drink.

  • Nothing advisable. It was dirty and left. It was all piled and messy. Repetitive. For me, a joke, would not return.

  • We came across this random gallery when we were walking up the hill to the top. As some people say the guy working there is very eccentric but for us in a positive way and I think adds to what the gal...  more »

  • The magical cavern is awesome. It’s such an unexpected place walking through the park but all of the colors in the paintings and the music make it a real cool experience. A lot of visitors walked through the different levels and left. There are chairs and couches for a reason, sit and take in the experience. You see things and details in the paintings by staring at them for a while.
  • I read the reviews and it kind of describes everything. The doorkid is weirdo and kind of disturbing. Just like the whole gallery and paintings. If you like surreal fantasy fairy tale theme it is plain must-see! It is not large but 3€ is not that much for unique type of art.
  • An unnerving place that I wouldn't want to recommend for fear of its owner and doorman. It wasn't the surrealism so much as the sex dungeon vibe that set me on edge. In its favour, it is what it advertises as being: a small gallery of surreal art in a makeshift cavern (i.e. polystyrene-decorated house). On the other hand, the venue is filthy and the paintings seem like the work of a sexually-frustrated adolescent who dropped some tabs of acid and never really progressed onto a novel style. Expect depictions of silicone-style 'breasts', gnomes, magical forests and unicorns with little to no thematic variation. I'm also not overly fond of paying 140CZK to a low-key aggressive--though potentially on the spectrum, so the next part may be, to some degree, forgivable--20-something kid to have him tell my girlfriend that he likes her dress and get uncomfortably close to us both. And based on the other reviews here--and common sense, I hope--don't drink alcoholic beverages in a basement with no cameras and some broken and stained sofas...
  • Ok... Breathe. I'm from the US so my tastes are maybe different from this Czech public. My experience was... Very surreal having gone into this without knowing what this place really was. The experience. The guy at the door dressed/behaved like he is going to Hogwarts soon. He was kind of aggressive for a very non threatening person, so ok. Then we proceed down some stairs to a room full of paintings of topless women as goats, and dragon tamers, and violin playing mermaids with more silicon than p-hub. In the second room was a tray of glasses and a big jug of dark red liquid. My gf and I were pretty sure Jim Jones was gonna come out. After the basement we were ready to leave but the door guy made sure we went to the next floor up. And lo and behold more "Spencer gift" art with titles like "forest of forbidden truths" and "unicorn seductress of the light God" and "Nymph village to oversee the coming of Groffoon the savior". Either way, I felt like I was at the booth at comic con that gets no visitors. In conclusion. Having said that, you should probably go. I will be talking about this place to everyone I know.
  • The gallery is a bit small but nice for rest from a long walking... Great paints and music
