Where to stay in Prague

As one of Europe’s main tourist destinations, Prague offers a selection of accommodations to match its popularity, from luxury hotels to very affordable hostels. For an authentic Prague experience, stay at one of the guesthouses or boutique hotels housed inside the city's historical buildings. You'll find many lodgings concentrated around the most popular sightseeing areas, such as the Old Town, the Lesser Town, and Prague Castle, but there are also a good number of them in other neighborhoods. The best way to make Prague feel like home is to rent a fully furnished apartment.

  • This is sort of Flea market in remote part of Prague. You have to travel to the other end of the city to reach this place. There are many cheap options to buy items. Shopkeepers behave rudely when you try to bargain a lot. Those who are master in bargain can have good deals here. There are many Chinese shopkeepers who are selling their offbeat stuff like knives, watches, cloths, toys which u wont see in other part of prague. The deserted look of the market will give you insecure feel. Visit this place in groups.
  • It's an interesting spot for sure, but not something I would go out of my way to visit. We were staying at an AirBnB five mins from here so it wasn't far at all for us to walk too. There is a large indoor farmers market that has a great variety of fruits, vegetables as well as meat and cheese stands. Outside there are open tents with vendors selling a vast selection of goods from clothing to toys, weapons, etc. While there have brand name items, I suspect there may be a trademark violation or two present. Good if you're close by, but there are a lot of other places in Prague you should visit first.
  • Not for tourists!! Miles outside the city, unsafe feeling and very run down... Having been to amazing markets in Amsterdam and Budapest my friends and I decided to visit one in Prague. When we got there we thought we'd gone to the wrong place, unfortunately not! The stalls were few and far between and the ones that were there were all selling cheap nick nacks you could get anywhere, the main goods on offer seemed to be switch blades. Overall it was very quiet and didn't feel very safe, we didn't stay long and regretted our visit.
  • +Incredible variety of goods +usually very cheep +very convenient in case you're looking for accessories of any kind -don't expect great quality, however for that price it's worth it
  • Interesting market. Very good for buyin vegetables and meat. Also some sort of flea market. Good for a one hour visit.
