4.7/5 based on 5,500+ reviews on the web
Prague Zoo occupies a wooded area on the right bank of the Vltava River. Home to nearly 5,000 animals from almost 700 different species, the park offers you a chance to come face-to-face with giraffes, gorillas, polar bears, tigers, and red pandas. Although the park shelters over 130 species listed as critically endangered, its most important possession may be a herd of rare Przewalski’s horses, native to the steppes of central Asia. Stop by to see the descendants of the last Przewalski's horse caught in the wild, and discover other highlights of this animal sanctuary by taking a guided ride on the zoo's miniature cable car. • Nice walk, nice views and a lot of animals to discover. Every time, you can find something new there.
  • גן חיות גדול ויפה, הגענו לגן החיות בשייט על אוניה עד לגן החיות. הרכבה הולכים אבל בנוף מדהים. אפשר לבלות יום שלם בגן החיות.
  • great place for a stroll, a huge territory, the mass of animals, this zoo simply amazed imagination. Spent the whole day there and take the

  • Prague zoo is rated one of the best in the world, and it's not difficult to see why! They have a massive range of animals in customised enclosures which are easily viewable. The zoo is huge, so you will need at least a full day to see everything. They do have a selection of food available, from hot dogs up to sit down meals, be wary of the prices though, its cheaper to take in a picnic.
  • One of the best zoo's I've ever been to! Probably the 2nd best after the Munich zoo. There were lots of interesting and cute animals! The nature and vegetation along the paths completed our great experience. Some enclosure were empty, of course. Also, be prepared to walk a lot. It's worth it though!
  • Easy to reach and cheap tickets. Big nice variety of Animals also in their home-like environment. Lot of activities also if you have kids. The only negative thing that lot of thing does not available in English "or even German" and lot of people can't speak any foreign language.
  • We really had fun there, Especially on the funicular raillway. A great selection of animals that does not end. The price is not expensive and you can get there very quickly.
  • Huge variety of animals and activities. You're able to get very close to a lot of the animals and even touch some of them. The cable car and lookout tower offer you great views over Prague. It took us about 5 hours to get round all the exhibits and at only 200krc per adult (about £6) that's a lot of bang for your buck. Would highly recommend.
