  • It's an ok tour, but don't expect too much. A couple of underground rooms, but then again there's just no connections underground in Prague so not so much to do about that. The guide we had was not th...  more »

  • Waste of money, 400 CZK for regular admission. The tour takes you to three locations: the basement of a bar, and two basements in an apartment building about 30 minutes away by foot (the dungeon and the alchemist lab according to the company). Other than the rooms themselves, there is nothing authentic or of any historic value in any of the rooms. Instead they are full of cheesy decorations like fake skeletons and lab equipment and a speaker that plays "spooky" music in the background. If you are interested in doing any type of underground tour I would recommend the one provided by Old Town Hall which is significantly cheaper and more interesting.
  • Since doing the bunker tour (3/5) I've done the prague underground and “dungeon” tour and it was truly so terrible and beyond disappointing that I had to change my rating to a 1/5 and would make it a 0 if I could because it was just so pathetic and blatantly a scam!!! This is literally just three separate basements that have no particular history attached to them! They charge 400czk per person to take you to three different apartment basements! As in the same thing you see all in hundreds of below street level pubs and restaurants all over downtown Prague, except the ones they take you to are empty. Literally just basements!!! The 1st basement is totally empty, 2nd, the “dungeon” (no evidence or support it was ever used as such at any point in history, ever!!) had a bunch of cheap plastic LED candles, a plastic skeleton and some plastic weapons and the 3rd basement, the “alchemist lab”, had a fake old book case that went into a room with a fake fireplace with cheesy plastic ears in a plastic cauldron and some water with food colouring in glass jars, with a second room that a table showing some plastic replicas of some cookware that might have been used "back in the day" no specific time range given. Once again no proof or even suggestion by the guide that this was anything more than a basement of an old house! Not one word about any kind of specific historical relationship to alchemy! All the guide said was that in the 16th century some very famous Prague “ruler” was very tolerant of alchemists and they lived very well in Prague, he didn't even know that rulers name!!!! ( It's Rudolf II, Holy Roman Emperor, by the way, and he's a very interesting person and it was an extremely interesting time in Pragues history, really worth hearing about so it was both extremely shocking and disappointing to have a guide who couldn't even give the most basic information about Rudolf II or Prague during his reign!!!!!!) That is all! Literally just three different basements under 3 very small apartments or large homes downtown. I really was shocked at how truly truly pathetic this tour was!!! So little information from the guide I didn't even know how a Czech person could know so little about Czech history! Also in comparison the underground portion of the old town hall tour is a thousand times better in every possible way and is what you are probably actually expecting from and underground tour!!! Making this tour that much more pathetic!! The Old town hall tour is a real tour through interconnected passages with a rich history, some parts are actual old dungeons with prisoners names carved into the walls from hundreds of years ago, shown to you by guide who knows the history and over all is so much more than just separate basements of homes!!(not to mention about ⅓ the price for the old town tour)! I am blown away that this company is calling what they offer an underground tour when it is literally just different and totally separate basements that you have to go above ground and across downtown to reach! Do not go on this tour it is 100% a scam and I'm so upset I fell for it!!! Prague has an interesting underground but this tour does not provide any access to it whatsoever!!!!!! This tour company is exploiting what people think about Prague (interesting underground, spooky alchemist history) and using that to trick them into paying to see empty basements!!!! I really do feel like I was tricked and cheated and there was nothing even remotely reframing about this tour and I have no idea how this company has not been shut down for such blatantly false advertising! I went in the nuclear bunker tour and enjoyed it but could have done without the walk the around the city before actually going to the bunker. Ladislav was a great tour guide and full of great information. Reasonably interesting but seemed really overpriced for what it was (500czk for a student compared to 175 for students at Prague Castle or even 370 for students at the Jewish museum)
  • A must see, the tour was great, the guide really explained everything! 😉 I was in a small group, visiting the "underground Prague" by night, and it was superb! If you can get there, ask for a tour, those are really interesting. Prices can be a little high though.
  • The new attraction of Prague! The underground Town Hall interesting tells the guide who runs after all the recesses of the City Hall and its basement. With this ticket which costs about 250 Crowns can also be used in other parts of the city to visit the observation tower.

  • Several stories and interesting historical explanations, and next to which one can totally pass (including the basics). 1 hour visit that I regret. Cheaper for students, and booked at arrival at the shop on tripadvisor (to the left of the clock astronomical qd you face it, it takes past as an arch in a building to get in a small courtyard), to have a discount of 33% on future visits, you will not have booking offices offering tickets. Except in the summer, there is not so many booking period (we made them for the same day). This visit does not overlap with the "Ghost and legend" visit, even if you go also go briefly in Prague during the below it, those are not those that you visit in the "Underground" tour. There are several "underground" tours, we did the days of 1 h. The underside of the City Hall are open to the public with the visit of the Town Hall ticket, to see, but attention sometimes reserved for private events, so check as soon as you arrive in Prague.
