  • Take a trip up if you've got some time to kill. Stunning park and views up there. However if you're only going up to see the Metronome and it's history it is a little lacking in explanation. Although ...  more »

  • Amazing views of the city. Well worth the stairs climb. Beside the metronom it is quite popular as it's the first place you reach at the top of the stpes. If you turn left at the top of the steps into the park you'll get a better view of the river, bridges and castle. Great for photos!
  • One of Prague's best view spots. there are some trees which in my opinion needs to be cut for better and clearer view. visit here during day and night.
  • This fifteen meter red needle marking time is built on the spot where Stalin had the world's largest stone statue of himself erected. After the fall of the Soviet Union, the metronome went up to remind tyrants that time will do away with them all. This is a nice place to sit and view the city while contemplating time, as I think time is a major theme running through Prague.
  • The metronom itself it's a better look from the distance than in situ. It's just not very beautiful in close distances. What it's worth it are the views. From here you'll have one of the best views of Prague. It's just a beautiful place to relax.
  • Great view over Prague, but could need some restauration. At least there is some little shop up there serving beverages and stuff, since getting up there by foot is somehwat exhausting. :P
