  • Amazing Western culture for the Russian people. They have a cemetery is a place for walking and reading books under the canopy of tall trees. On the alleys Olshanskogo moms with strollers, dog kennels with pets, strolling couples. There is sadness and grief, just another side of life, precisely the one after it. You can admire the beautiful monuments, tombstones, vaults. Many as works of art. If you are tired of the noisy Center of Prague and want to take a break from the din of the crowded and better places, though, despite all the greatness of the decoration and the beauty of this place, I did a little pretili walks here. Yet in our culture to cemeteries just so don't walk. Separately it is necessary to look at Jewish cemetery sector, as well as monuments to Russian soldiers and Orthodox part. True, unpleasantly struck by the fact that old monuments dismantled and for considerable money sites sell new "tenants". So, between the beginning of the 20 century burials may suddenly appear new, richly retracted headstone, which, to tell the truth, it looks pretty inorodno.

  • Many times took place near this spot when went on the subway, but never visited. Today, 9 may, my husband and I walked on this mysterious place. The feast had a lot of people, people went to lay flowers and wreaths to the monument to Russian soldiers. We, the goonies, don't even think this way, because it doubted whether we find burial places. Going to the cemetery by Olsanske n. have long to go. We don't how many donated as spellbound considered some particularly outstanding gravestones and enjoyed the silence. Tribute to the memory of the fallen soldiers. I could not hold back tears. Honour and glory to the heroes! A huge cemetery and definitely worth a visit.

  • By chance this cemetery discovered. What are here beautiful cemeteries. Some are more than 150 years old. Some perfectly maintained and some nicely weathered. We have enjoyed the peace, quiet, but also of the many chirruping birds. Really a must.

Where to stay in Prague

As one of Europe’s main tourist destinations, Prague offers a selection of accommodations to match its popularity, from luxury hotels to very affordable hostels. For an authentic Prague experience, stay at one of the guesthouses or boutique hotels housed inside the city's historical buildings. You'll find many lodgings concentrated around the most popular sightseeing areas, such as the Old Town, the Lesser Town, and Prague Castle, but there are also a good number of them in other neighborhoods. The best way to make Prague feel like home is to rent a fully furnished apartment.
