  • A great Museum that attracts interested in automobiles, military aircraft and trains, with Rico and well organized. The trains, motorcycles and automobiles are very explanatory and are in chronological order.

  • Labels on almost all exhibits in English (as well). Facinating and well thought out sets of exhibits - e.g a section on photography, one on medical prostheses (was this a special?), a collection of ea...  more »

  • It's top class. They offer classes, interactions, displays and all that in one museum. They show you mines, steel mill, cars, railroad, printing, computers. Basically all machines under the roof. The museum is underrated.... If you like machines do come here. They have an especially good collection of motorbikes and printing machines. You need more than 3 hours if you are into museums, trust me its 7 level....
  • This museum has some really impressive objects that mark some of the most important technical milestones. Must visit; don't miss. Plus from the path towards the museum you can see Prague in a unique angle.
  • Lots of interesting stuff! The prices (for students at least) were decent. Definitely spare a few hours if you go there.
  • Very hot. where the reception was air coditioned. no other room was! I thought the exhibits were mediocre at best. we were at one point pulled out of an exhibit for wearing rucksacks which I believed to be a little excessive. overall pretty underwelming and a dissapointing excursion.
  • Amazing place - you can learn a lot about Czech society and technical development through ages. Prepare to spend a lot of time inside (4+ hours) if you are interested in planes, cars, etc. Highly recommended.

Where to stay in Prague

As one of Europe’s main tourist destinations, Prague offers a selection of accommodations to match its popularity, from luxury hotels to very affordable hostels. For an authentic Prague experience, stay at one of the guesthouses or boutique hotels housed inside the city's historical buildings. You'll find many lodgings concentrated around the most popular sightseeing areas, such as the Old Town, the Lesser Town, and Prague Castle, but there are also a good number of them in other neighborhoods. The best way to make Prague feel like home is to rent a fully furnished apartment.
