  • Would you like to know, if we made an elixir of youth in Czech Republic? Do you know, where spent William Shakespeare the time, when he lost from Great Britain? So, you MUST visit this museum:o)  more »
  • Its Edward Kellys old house. And they have built a simluacrum of it on the top floor. Its truly fascinating. The bar is just absolotutely smashing. There you can still see what Kelley saw.  more »
  • This is not a big attraction but it's a great way to spend an hour. Going down into the underground tunnels that the alchemists used to travel from the castle to the old town is the highlight. Well wo...  more »

  • This was kind of a lame stop. You get to see an ancient attic with some cheesy props and go up some old stairs. It could have been cool but the guide didn't know much history and just tells you why he thinks the medieval alchemists were fools. The other alchemy museum in Prague is much better with knowledgeable guides and is a very cool slice of the city's history.
  • Complete waste of time...maybe if it wasnt under renovations it would be really cool, but we payed $20 to walk up 5 flights of stairs and look at wax statues and props. We felt very ripped off and disappointed because of the soaring ratings this place has. Do not let them take your money if it is under renovation.
  • A little gem in a city that is filled with some many tourist attractions. Amazingly well done set up / interiors, and a great guide who spins a wonderful story that enhances the charm of this place. They offer an option to combine this with the ghost museum, although museum of alchemy is definitely the star of the two. Both are quite small, and at a 15 minute talking distance apart. They can both be covered within 1.5-2 hours max. Worth a visit, if you are looking for something different, something a tad esoteric.
  • The museum itself is a bit disappointing cause there is just not much to see! But walking up to the attic in the tower is a pleasant surprise. You'll find yourself in a room that looks and seems to be a rather big film set of a movie about witchcraft and alchemy! It looks so fantastic and beautiful -- I thought Harry Potter would jump out from behind the next corner any minute.
  • complete waste of money..sorry but this is not a museum !
