  • Booked last, they gladly accepted in 2 Although there was only one seat available (on the site claim to allow entry to 7 visitors at a time). Some parts are not accessible for maintenance/preservation of the building. The visit in English lasts an hour and provides an extra 150 crowns than the visit to Czech, rate a little high. Given the troubled history of the villa, it is admirable how well preserved. Is indispensable for architects or students. Critical to understanding the spatiality and (not) ornament!

  • Examined a Villa outside, and can confidently say that it is a worthy model to its architectural style, namely-functionalism. On the other hand, that in itself is pretty lame, SER functionalism, primitive and monotonous. The city centre can be reached by a combination of Metro plus tram.

  • The villa is a little out of the way but easy to reach by (line 1 or 2 to Hradcanska) and, for someone like me who loves modern architecture, is well worth the visit (to be booked on the web). Built in the 1930s, is a typical example of functionalist architecture. A simple cube on the outside while the inside (too bad the photos) is designed for maximum comfort with use of precious materials and a rational layout. To see if you like the genre.

  • Modernist masterpiece built by Adolf Loos. It seems to be uninteresting from outside, but when you enter, you will understand, that it's very practical and comfortable.
  • MUST GO! One of the major works of Adolf Loos, that everyone interested in art or architecture had studied. Looking quite normal from the outside, but the inside is amazing. All the rooms with different levels, visual connections, spaces designed for that use and an the roof with greats views of Prague like a painting. Reserve several weeks before visiting the city otherwise you will miss that visit.
  • Wonderful modernistic architecture by Adolf Loos!
  • very interesting for those who want to see the work of Loos. Although it is fairly expensive time to tour the House and the lady who I had to my guide a little conservative and Moody. But amazing and totally worth the House make the journey if you like Loos and you are in Prague.

  • A beautiful example of the creation of an important architect from the pre-war period where the owner builder and respected to the maximum extent his ideas. Raumplan-composition of rooms around a central communication space according to the purpose and significance of přikládanému in there House-here applies the architect Loos in full. Interesting is also the continuity of construction object and use the object in the context of the time, including the disastrous post-war period.
