Specialty Museum Museum
Madame Tussauds Prague houses more than 50 figures of Czech and internationally popular personalities who have influenced history, science, culture, sports, and politics of the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. Wax likenesses of Lenin, Stalin, Khrushchev, Brezhnev, Mao Zedong, and Castro are in the gallery of totalitarian rulers, for example. The museum also features a mirror maze and a kaleidoscopic cinema. Note that the exhibits primarily target a Czech audience. • You expect to see something more and better than we did. Especially when it says that it is Madame Tussaud's Prague. Some of the characters were very much alike, we thought, while that with a few others might read on the signs. We do not understand why there should be so many Czech characters. Most tourists have no idea who they are, and such museums are turning enough more to tourists than locals. We had also expected that there was some more shapes. No, so is the museum in Denmark is better.

  • Home of the most unpleasant. The two women at the checkout were rude, grumbled, the morales customers, were not smiling, did not want to go home and were very dry. 0! The exhibition leave hungry, there are few characters, they are not all very similar and well known people are few. I'd rather put more money and go to the other Museum of the same type located in the same street!

  • It is expensive and not worth it, compared to other museums of wax (e.g. Barcelona or Amsterdam). In less than half an hour you've seen it all, and saved a pair of figures...

  • not the best one but if you like to take pictures with wax celebrities so you will like that place
  • Some celebrities are very realistic. But many of them not..
  • Not alot to get in but I can see why.. wouldn't recommend going.. the first part it so bad it was funny. Recent celebs look good but I kinda had high standards because of the one in Ldn. I wouldn't bother paying to get in as the best waxworks are the ones outside!
  • It was fun, was not that huge as the London's one, but still nice museum. Famous celebrities and well known people made of wax.
  • It's way cheaper than the one in London but it's way smaller. They have a lot of local personalities and only a room with international people.

Where to stay in Prague

As one of Europe’s main tourist destinations, Prague offers a selection of accommodations to match its popularity, from luxury hotels to very affordable hostels. For an authentic Prague experience, stay at one of the guesthouses or boutique hotels housed inside the city's historical buildings. You'll find many lodgings concentrated around the most popular sightseeing areas, such as the Old Town, the Lesser Town, and Prague Castle, but there are also a good number of them in other neighborhoods. The best way to make Prague feel like home is to rent a fully furnished apartment.
