  • Is the first wax museum I visit but maybe I expected better from what I have said. Here are historical characters wax in Prague and Kafka.

  • What can I say, we should have checked previous reviews before parting with our money and going in here. Having visited Madame Toussards in London, Amsterdam and Barcelona and finding them all to be a...  more »
  • I read reviews that talk about disappointments burning, but I have to say that already outside you know it isn't the Mdame Tussauds London! The entrance ticket is ridiculous and to spend an hour in the heat before going to dinner, having to take pictures next to Lady Gaga or Bono is fine. There's another Wax Museum in Prague, much bigger and looked after, Grevin. If you like, surely it is better.

  • We stumbled across prague wax museum and decided we would check it out. We thought it was very limited on characters and was very small, so one could walk around it in 10 minutes. Some of the celebrities were very detailed and looked good, others not so good like Arnie or Tina Turner. Could be better!
  • I believe, that this is not a licensed partner from 'Madame Tussauds'. They just stole the name and made their own wax museum. You can prove this, by looking at the tickets and the flyer you get at the entrance. Both are not labeled as 'Madame Tussauds', but as 'Wax Museum Prague'. Furthermore I do not think, that you should spend you money here, eventhough you only have to pay a small price. The museum is to small and most of the objects displayed look unreal.
  • I really recommend this place, not the best one, but you can take funny photos. $
  • Do not recommend. Museum is a scam, looks nice on the outside but is a total rip off on the inside. Don't waste your money like we did.
  • not the best one but if you like to take pictures with wax celebrities so you will like that place

Where to stay in Prague

As one of Europe’s main tourist destinations, Prague offers a selection of accommodations to match its popularity, from luxury hotels to very affordable hostels. For an authentic Prague experience, stay at one of the guesthouses or boutique hotels housed inside the city's historical buildings. You'll find many lodgings concentrated around the most popular sightseeing areas, such as the Old Town, the Lesser Town, and Prague Castle, but there are also a good number of them in other neighborhoods. The best way to make Prague feel like home is to rent a fully furnished apartment.
