  • St.Henry and Cunigonde church Next to St. Henry tower. Small limited access no photo but awesome. At present, the church is used for Roman Catholic worship. At the entrance to the church there are two...  more »
  • In its new location, literally just a few steps from the central train station, stands the very interesting, including the architecturally-historical point of view, sacred building is the Church, bearing the name of two Saints: Chela with hard spoken Russian tourists Jindřich and tjotenki on behalf of Kunigunda (Kostel svatého Jindřicha a svaté Kunhuty). Visually cute Temple is one of the sacred "highlights" Novomestja-not just once or twice, I have witnessed how hung with "fotooruzhiem" turistjagi komarinym Roy curled around the Church, trying to make interesting pictures. The story of this construction is long and difficult: it was built in Gothic style in the now arhidaljokom year 1351 purely under the order of the Knights of the cross members of gallant with a red star (by the way, this religious association has so many names that even umnyshka-Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia their enumeration gave five rows). Now a little "leave aside from architectural themes to briefly tell for the Saints, who gave" pogonjalo "Temple. Jindřich (or even Henry II) is the fourth Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and, concurrently, twelfth King of Germany. Well, is his wife, Cunigunde, so to speak. one word-a sacral "family contract. Oddly enough sounds, but to the Saints this couple was listed as only its commitment to the Catholic faith. Well, now back to the story of "our" Church. The church building is a trjohnefnaja building with naves of equal height. Presbytery with polygonal completion and prismatic Tower also belong to the Gothic style (though the inquisitive eye of the connoisseur will note that, at present, the Tower has a Baroque shutdown). • This Gothic parish church, consecrated to the royal couple Henry and Kunhuta, was founded at the same time as Prague's New Town in 1348. It was constructed of quarried stone, which was revealed when its stuccoed exterior was removed during an early 20 th century renovation. Since 2008, both a Czech and a Slovak parish are active here. The Jidřišská Tower, which is the largest freestanding bell tower in Prague, belongs to the church
  • One of the many nice temples in Prague. Sometimes concertd ard held here, good acvoustics. In winter it is very cold inside, especially when one sits for an hour or two.
  • A church for the sanctimonious hypocrite in you, if you have a slightly higher IQ than a christian, then you will realise it is another money making part of the Ponzi scheme that masquerades as a religion.
  • Wonderful church in the hearth of Prague which holds Slovakia's Holy Mass as well as Czech Mass.
  • Beautiful church in the city centre, worth the visit.
