  • The statue of the father of Czech Republic and figure key in the history of Europe. You will pass ahead Yes or Yes several times so spend a few minutes and thought a certainly exceptional character.

  • On the right bank of the Vltava River and is located at the foot of the Charles Bridge. Often see pigeons and gulls sitting on the head of the statue, the statue of Czech men in, but here the pigeon feet. Nearby is indispensable in a photo shoot, and spot views across the Vltava River Prague Castle place.

  • This monument to King Charles 4th is in the Crusader Knight's Square or Krizovnjke Namesti. The Square fronts the Gateway to the Charles Bright from the Old Town and whilst extremely busy, is well worth praising in and out you have the time, visit the museum about the bridge.
  • Bronze statue of Emperor Charles IV is located in the Krzhizhovnickoj area on the former site of a military guard of honor. Charles IV became King 11 Czech lands and later Holy Roman Emperor.  Czechs he is considered one of the main figures in its history and is often referred to as his "father of the homeland." The monument was opened in the year 1851. Originally it was planned to open in 1848 in honour of the 500-year anniversary of the founding of Charles University, initiated the construction of which was the emperor himself, but the revolutionary events of the year have pushed the opening date of the monument until the year 1851. The author of the sculpture project was the Dresden sculptor a. Hengel, in bronze monument moulded Nuremberg master j. d. Burgshmit.  The base of the monument to the iron.    To install the monument on commissioned place, there have been several works to expand the Krzhizhovnickoj square. In addition, was filled with a water canal, which flowed under the bridge and rested against the building of the krzhizhovnickogo monastery. The central figure of the entire monument, of course, is the sculpture of Charles IV, who is depicted in Royal attire and with a Crown on his head. In one hand he holds a Gold Bull and the other-a decree on the basis of the Charles University. The Foundation of the monument is decorated with four sculptures that symbolize the first based in the University faculties: the philosophical, theological, legal and medical. In addition, on the basis of the present sculpture of the Royal Court: Arnošt of Pardubic, Jan Beneš, Vlashimi points from Kolovrat and Matthias of Arras.
