  • I love the Jirásek. It is easily accessible by PUBLIC TRANSPORT and there is a lot of attractions. It is one of the few square, on which the eponymous bridge continues and in the middle is vivid statue of Alois Jirásek. Dancing House and Manes are chapters for themselves and it is always worth a visit. I always regret that the exhibition in the Dancing House are more European, international or world. It's a shame, because the thousands of tourists that pass through (but even so, the Movie Retro is worth it, even if it is 100% "Czech" classics, and also for the previously born-the youth of today don't know what it is). I love the patio and a chandelier hanging in a cafe about crooked gold chandelier in the front desk not to mention (you know, that is covered with 24 k gold). Also worth mentioning is the original toilets and "sperm whale" for waiting for the elevator. But just a short walk away in Prague. very interesting is the Church of St. Wenceslas on Myslikova-caution open only on Thursday. On the ground floor is an interesting mini Gallery. Opposite the then Orthodox Cathedral of Saints Cyril and Methodius-this is definitely an interesting not only as a temple, but above all in connection with the assassination of Reinhard Heidrich. • Architectural-cute and lively area, named after the Czech writer, playwright and public leader Alois Jirásek (Alois Jirásek), poljubasu was churned up every second lover of Prague-because here is one of the must see the Czech capital-"dancing House"! The area is sufficiently compact and is in "framed" Masaryk Street and Quay Resslovoj and Gorazdovoj. The Visual dominant of the square is the monument of Aloisu Jiraseku, built in the central part of the green lawn in 1960 year: bronze is the author of "" Old Czech legends, holding an open book on his lap and holding in his right hand a Stilo, thoughtfully sits on high pedestal hmurja eyebrows towards the bridge, bearing his name. The authorship of the monument belongs to sculptor Karel Pokorny (Karel Pokorný). During its centuries of existence, Jiráskovo náměstí repeatedly changed its name: originally the area had the name František Ladislav Riegera (František Ladislav Rieger), one of the creators of the Czech national revival, then it renamed in honour of Karel Hynek Macha (Karel Hynek Mácha), a famous Czech poet, after a short time the square was returned to its original name-Rieger's and only in 1947 year, Piazza finally was given the current name- Jirasikova. The fact of the matter is that in the five-storey building, neo just "behind" the seated writer and playwright, the last 27 years lived, and that it's the same left this mortal coil ...
