#14 of 145 in Fun & Games in Prague
A truly unique way to experience an exhibit, Invisible Exhibition - Neviditelna vystava provides a chance to discover what it's like to live without one major sense. Your guide will be a blind or partially sighted person, and your task will be to explore seven different places using nothing but your hands, ears, and nose. The idea behind this activity is to provide insight into what life is like for those without sight--it's also an ideal way to make new friends and bring people closer together. As you explore, look out for the Braille typewriter, the talking clock, and other devices and objects visually impaired people use on a daily basis. • This experience, we were given a gift-the invisible exhibition with dinner. Before I had a huge fear. I was therefore probably not ready to, that I can't do it ... BUT the surprise was huge. Our guide Peter was incredibly empathetic, humorous, he explained, helped us all. The entire event was an amazing experience. Finally, I went through the whole exhibition even with an excellent dinner. Experience has been a great experience for me. Definitely recommend it to everyone, even those who are afraid, really there is nothing to worry about, and it's worth it!

  • The invisible exhibition, we visited with friends. We were very surprised by this exhibition, no goggles or masks over the eyes. You will spend about 50 minutes in the premises, where it is pitch black and you have to rely only on the advice of blind Guide, your touch and hearing. During the whole tour was a very nice atmosphere and very nice lady companion was. The exhibition is very sophisticated and we loved it.

  • We visited Prague as part of a university trip. I almost did not participate in this activity because I have anxiety and walking around in the dark sounded like a haunted house to me. I was extremely nervous going in, but shortly realized that my expectations were wrong. This ended up being one of my favorite educational experiences while in Prague. I loved the history and the architecture of the City. But experiencing the world for a short time without one of my senses was one of the biggest perspective shifts I have ever been through. I would recommend this experience with two thumbs up.
  • Amazing place! Did you know how difficult it can be to see only darkness? This is amazing world. In a small group you will be closer to each other, more than you think. Really good to visit, awesome experience *
  • I was prepared to be blind for an hour, but it still exceeded my expectations. Unbelievable experience. Totally recommend. I still can't imagine how hard everything is for blind people.
  • Very interesting angle strong experience which gives you a hint of how blind people live. The only bad thing about it is the really unfriendly staff at the ticket office.
  • An experience that you will never forget! There, you can finally understand blind people and how they live in today's society. People are very nice and the tour is great! Worth it!
