Invisible Exhibition - Neviditelna vystava, Prague

4.8
A truly unique way to experience an exhibit, Invisible Exhibition - Neviditelna vystava provides a chance to discover what it's like to live without one major sense. Your guide will be a blind or partially sighted person, and your task will be to explore seven different places using nothing but your hands, ears, and nose. The idea behind this activity is to provide insight into what life is like for those without sight--it's also an ideal way to make new friends and bring people closer together. As you explore, look out for the Braille typewriter, the talking clock, and other devices and objects visually impaired people use on a daily basis. • A new experience, find themselves in the dark and perceive the world through the eyes of the blind "uplnej" ... from the beginning, it may seem that it's slightly depressing, but no need to zľaknúť and go to "experience" ... After this experience will have an even larger blind your admiration!

  • An experience that you will never forget! There, you can finally understand blind people and how they live in today's society. People are very nice and the tour is great! Worth it!
  • A pretend walk through a cottage, barn, a normal street BUT in total darkness. You have to navigate by touch and instruction. It was a lot of fun. Don't be any type of scared of the dark. And be prepared for a basic Czech language test if you haven't booked as an English group. You have to understand basics like left, right, stop and stay.
  • Super interesting exhibition for a fair price. It is a very rewarding experience (sometimes scary) that gives some insight into living without sight. You are taken into a series of rooms completely in the dark, with a blind person guiding you at all times, to experience life without sight, by using your touch, hearing and smell. The only downside is they charge you extra for "English translation".
  • Unusual experience... worth to try the life of blind people. I do not want to spoil anything. Cameras and other sources of light and sound are forbidden. There are lockers where you can keep your stuff.
  • Loved it, great staff wonderful experience. Going to come back again and try the other activities they have to offer. Mind Blown!!!!!

Where to stay in Prague

As one of Europe’s main tourist destinations, Prague offers a selection of accommodations to match its popularity, from luxury hotels to very affordable hostels. For an authentic Prague experience, stay at one of the guesthouses or boutique hotels housed inside the city's historical buildings. You'll find many lodgings concentrated around the most popular sightseeing areas, such as the Old Town, the Lesser Town, and Prague Castle, but there are also a good number of them in other neighborhoods. The best way to make Prague feel like home is to rent a fully furnished apartment.
