Where to stay in Prague

As one of Europe’s main tourist destinations, Prague offers a selection of accommodations to match its popularity, from luxury hotels to very affordable hostels. For an authentic Prague experience, stay at one of the guesthouses or boutique hotels housed inside the city's historical buildings. You'll find many lodgings concentrated around the most popular sightseeing areas, such as the Old Town, the Lesser Town, and Prague Castle, but there are also a good number of them in other neighborhoods. The best way to make Prague feel like home is to rent a fully furnished apartment.

  • The church is supposed to open until 12 on a Tuesday. We got there at about 11:45 am but it was closed already. I managed to take a picture through the glass (or plastic?) window. It looked gorgeous j...  more »
  • We visited this church on Mala Stupartska (Old Town) on a free walking tour of Prague. The outside of the church had some very interesting reliefs on them (see photos) but as with most Baroque churche...  more »
  • This church is a bit trickier to find, but it's worth it at least to have a quick look around. The interior is gorgeous and seeing the mummified forearm is the cherry on top. As you're leaving the mai...  more »

  • Definitely want to check this place out. Very elegant interior
  • This is an extremely ornate baroque era church. It is a big contrast to the nearby Tyn Church, which has far more simple interior. Here is the story of the mummified arm, courtesy Wikipedia: "There is also a mummified forearm to the right of the tomb entrance, dating back over 400 years. The arm is the arm of a jewel thief who tried to steal from the high altar, which has a statue of the Virgin Mary. It is believed that when the thief tried to steal the jewels, Mary grabbed his arm and would not let go, therefore his arm was cut off by monks."
  • Hands down one of the most beautiful churches on the planet.
  • Beautiful church. No entrance fee.
  • Impressive church and nice story about the arm
