Feels like being in a movie! An old post office, really wide, with paintings on the walls. Everybody is quiet, you can sit for a while and rest while admiring the place. Cool, beautiful, free, what el...  more »

In any post office in Prague you will make a copy of the documents, which will have the same effect as the original (of course, you need to first document was notarized Czech judicial notary). At the entrance of machines to determine the type of assistance you need. Follow the simple instructions on the scoreboard, you will get a paper card with the number. Inside the main premises has a scoreboard, which light up the numbers of the customers and employee email window that will cater to you. The Hall large with high ceilings. Saw tours of the mail room, but do not understand why they should be there.

Long wait but pleasant staff and absolutely beautiful building. Plenty of space to walk around to kill time. And it's open I think 24/7. What more could you ask from a post office?

Another Czech institution plagued by inefficiencies. Incredibly long lines, rude staff. You have to visit a special store in addition to the main window if you need need something simple like an envelope.

Amazing beautiful historical hall inside the building. The service is very nice and friendly. The manager used limited English to guide me how to make everything. But unfortunately the post shop is closed on Sunday, so you can not buy box to send parcel on Sunday, which caused us big problem when we came there. But luckily we solved it somehow.

Worst company in the Czech Republic. Terrible service and no respect to customer.

As it is the biggest post office in Prague you may get caught up in a very long queue. The building itself is worth visiting though

Where to stay in Prague

As one of Europe’s main tourist destinations, Prague offers a selection of accommodations to match its popularity, from luxury hotels to very affordable hostels. For an authentic Prague experience, stay at one of the guesthouses or boutique hotels housed inside the city's historical buildings. You'll find many lodgings concentrated around the most popular sightseeing areas, such as the Old Town, the Lesser Town, and Prague Castle, but there are also a good number of them in other neighborhoods. The best way to make Prague feel like home is to rent a fully furnished apartment.
