  • This public Botanical Garden is a haven of peace, and a refuge from the heat! Ride nice, ideal for cutting themselves off from the crowd. Possibility of visiting the greenhouses for about 2.

  • Returning with a stroll through Visegrad, my second half found themselves at the crossroads of several streets of Prague Novomestja: Slupi, Visegrad, Benatskoj and Trinity, just in the area of public transport "Botanická zahrada". The first thing "snagged" look Vieux podkolonelja-green water (whom I've met a lot in the labyrinths of the Czech capital), udivivshaja prishpandorennoj "drinking water". Nearby on a bench located fat aborigine, iznyvajushhij from lunch here-heat, his faithful friend, very skinny, judging by my modest Zoological knowledge of fauna in the Czech Republic-Prague ratter. Filling a small PET-Ku of the Pitná voda "krantika", these Michael Dooley and Jerry Lee Prague "spill" fraternally shared reviver: first, got drunk ... Ratter, essna ... It was unreal hot for mid May and really wanted to dive where-thread in the shadow of foliage. Instantly view the options I suggested favorite peek into the wide-open beckon invitingly wrought-iron gates of a fresh green oasis, where instantly like poshhemitsja, escaping the heat. Yes, and a sign on the gate Will post hinted that "the natural botanical garden of the Faculty of Charles University in Prague (Botanická Zahrada Přírodovědecké Fakulty Univerzity Karlovy)-stopudovo our only salvation from the rays of the Sun for a couple of kilometers in the County. The subsequent half hour confirmed the correctness of our choice: amazing HALJaVNOE (!) place of rest and relaxation within walking distance from one of the "hearts of Prague-Vaclavaka. Entrance is free, which is important (only in the greenhouse, where we are because of the heat and stuffiness is not ...

  • Small great botanical garden, which has many interesting facets. Unfortunately, we were already very late here. Unfortunately, the greenhouses were already closed, so we could just take a look through the window. On our next visit, we will again pass on all cases - in time.

  • Botanical garden not far from the city center. Much smaller than Prague Botanical Garden, but with free entry and more guiet.
  • We were there in November so the outside gardens were being put to bed for winter but in the greenhouse were many orchids on display, and some entertaining and noisy parrots. This garden must be spectacular in the Spring when all the azaleas and rhododendrons start blooming.
  • The white parrot was my absolute favourite :-) a nice place to walk around and enjoy the nature. Love the indoor junge feeling.
  • Free entry, unless you want to go inside of green houses. Which both is interesting. Garden is smaller then Botanical garden Troja, since it's in center of city, but still lot to see. Geological park included.
  • Beautiful garden on campus of the faculty of science, as a student who walks through every day I must say it's beautiful at all weather conditions. There's a greenhouse, divided into tree sections with aquariums, geopark for you enthusiastic geologists, and peace and quiet for everyone.
