  • I expected much more than one Museum of Czech beer. They are several rooms with few devices to explain as is beer and its evolution over time. Well, posters, stickers, toy strollers. A big showcase with all brands of Czech beer was the best. At the end you taste four types of different beers (pilsen, a less clear, toast and black). They are pitchers of 20 cl and tell you that they are only there, nor the you can buy or try at any bar. It is the best of the Museum.

  • We went with my partner in July of this year. I very excited, since I am a lover of beer, but it was a little desepcionante... Museum has little thing, it is going rather reading the welcome and because. Very very crappy. The only good thing is that, we invite you to 4 beers.

  • You will have to go around and read, and there is much reading. Not to look at directly. Ölprovningen at the end saves it out as the grade gets a strong second but put rather money to try beer anywhere else

  • Small museum, but covers the bases. Beautifyl place, gives you the feels, but could be better in creating the old age displays. A good collection. Beer tasting was the highlight for me, as it really gives you the feels - sitting in a cellar on oddly matched chairs and chatting away over 4 different beers per person is as rustic and amazing as it sounds. Tip: don't come alone. Kinda sucks to drink all that beer alone. 😐 Overall, a gem of a place.
  • Good price for the basic self guided tour. 4 local beers included in price at the end of the tour. Worth the money but wouldn't upgrade to the higher price just to bottle your own beer.
  • It is a tiny museum, I have to say. There's not really much information. It takes about an hour, tops, to carefully go through the exhibition rooms. But for an entrance fee of 200 czk (student price) it is worth it, because after the tour they give you 4 types of different beers (200 ml each) to try in a little bar. The staff there is very nice, and they try to have little conversations with everyone which is cute.
  • Museum shows you insight in the process of beer brewing and it is pretty interesting stuff, however the exihibit itself is small. At the end of the tour you get four 0.25l beers for sampling, which is nice. Tickets are 280 czk (~10 euro), cheaper for students.
  • We enjoyed our visit to the Beer Museum. The actual exhibition was a bit dated and simple but nice enough to look around. The tasting at the end was enjoyable!

Where to stay in Prague

As one of Europe’s main tourist destinations, Prague offers a selection of accommodations to match its popularity, from luxury hotels to very affordable hostels. For an authentic Prague experience, stay at one of the guesthouses or boutique hotels housed inside the city's historical buildings. You'll find many lodgings concentrated around the most popular sightseeing areas, such as the Old Town, the Lesser Town, and Prague Castle, but there are also a good number of them in other neighborhoods. The best way to make Prague feel like home is to rent a fully furnished apartment.
