  • The dancing House is an office building in Prague, in the style of deconstruction, consists of two cylindrical towers: normal and destructive. The dancing House is an architectural metaphor for dancing couples, jokingly called "Ginger and Fred" in honour of the pair of Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. One of the two cylindrical parts, one that extends upwards, symbolizing the male figure (Fred), and the second part of the building is visually reminiscent of a female figure with a thin waist and billowing skirt dancing (Ginger).

  • An architectural complex really curious and beautiful to see and photograph can also be reached on foot with a walk of about 20 minutes from downtown.

  • For those who love modern architecture this structure is well worth a visit if you are in Prague. Is not far off the tourist track, about a twenty minute walk from the ponte vecchio. The structure is clearly visible once you reach the opera house, I think it deserves a visit day or night.
