Tour a Gothic malt house, malt-drying kiln, rolling room, ice room, two-level cellars, and parts of the former taproom. • Considering that this the home of pilsener, and the 175th anniversary, the museum was a little disappointing. Staff lukewarm, and was just a little underwhelmed by the whole experience  more »
  • Very comprehensive exhibit. Multiple floors, lots of displays, in-depth descriptions and so many interesting things to see. Audio tour is available in many languages and is easy to use. Unfortunately,...  more »

  • If you go to Plzen you have to visit: Beer museum, the undergrounds are quite impressive, Saint Bartholome cathedral including the bell tower, Pilsen urquell brewery, drinking beer in the oldest bar of the city (U Salzmann bar/hotel) and also IPA in Beer Factory. 6 waypoints you could compress in 2 days but, since everything is cheap in Czech Rep, I recommend to runaway fast through Paris or London but to take your time to enjoy the beers in the many different bars on the rivers sides and parks. In Prague and Pilsen I had really a very good time
  • The Plzen Brewery Museum is not only located in beautiful historic buildings but you can also taste some of the greatest beers in the world.
  • Small museum, should take between 1-2 hours, but has a lot of interesting exhibits on history of beer and brewing. Suggest also visiting the brewery.
  • Eventually it's a trap :) nothing special for your money, didn't try the tunnels, might be better. The museum itself it's kind of boring.
  • Good place
