Cette tour, dernier vestige des remparts, est un bel exemple d'architecture militaire urbaine. Un bas relief raconte l'origine du blason de la ville, un demi-cheval, clin d'œil à la mésaventure arrivé... more »This tower, last remnant of the city walls, is a fine example of military architecture. A bas-relief tells the origin of the coat of arms of the city, a brush, a nod to the mishap happened to the founder of the city during the siege of Milan, his horse having been cut in two by the Harrow to the front door of the Lombard city. Rozhodně stojí za to, vyjít několik desítek schodů. Pohled dolů je krásný a navíc se cestou po schodech dozvíte velmi pěknou formou (zaujalo i děti) o historii města a jeho znacích. V jednom z podlaží... more »Definitely worth it, come out a few dozen steps. The view down is beautiful, and the stairs on the way you will learn a very nice form of (intrigued even children) about the history of the city and its characters. In one of the floors and various exhibitions.
An ideal place for visitors = 2x expositions of main Pardubice legends with CZ+EN+DE audio and very nice lookout form the top... for a very low price. There is also delicious chocolate/cafe BAJER very nearby to the tower bottom.
