  • Italian Court is called the Palace from the late 13th century in Kutná Hora, because Italian experts were the coin stamping spot and the coin stamping workshops with help and advice. These were arranged around the yard next to the "Prägehaus", where the Prague groschen was defeated. At the end of the 14th century the Palace for a short time was even Royal residence., he was for many centuries the Centre of the economic power of the State, because Kutná Hora owned silver mines. A guided tour shows not only the Mint, which are well preserved until today, but also the Royal Chapel and the great audience Hall of King Wenzel IV. With a little luck you are original at the end of the tour of the proud owner of a Prague groschen or - even better - they could even characterise him. The risk of a seriously injured hand when you hit next to it, is of course included. Who always Kutná Hora visits should not miss the visit of the Italian Court and for at least two hours time reserve.

  • A nice piece of history in a quiet, small town that is well worth a visit. Here you breathe history.
