(3.8/5 based on 180+ reviews on the web)
Tour the medieval mining shafts and tunnels, and learn more about ore processing and the life of miners at Czech Museum of Silver. A Gothic building houses the museum, which opened in 1996. Discover the history of the castle, contemplate the lifestyle of silver nobility, and imagine the silver rush heyday. One tour reveals the silver mining process, and you'll see a replica of a medieval mine and its original, horse-powered mining machine. A miners' village in the garden features log buildings, mining shelters, an ore-washing gutter, smelting furnace, and figurines of miners at work. • Please take the warnings seriously who is about 180 cm notes at the helm, the tunnel is how closely. The narrowest point is who is tall and about 100 kilos 40 cm wide, is more hunched over and sideways than straight. There's not much to see in the gallery. Worth seeing are the exhibition before the tour, and the two thereafter.
