  • Walk along the village, gave the synagogue, which in principle, till you see the star Jewish, the had mistaken for a church. The Jews had here your community S 14th. In 1909, the Spiro family built this beautiful art noveau-Romanesque building. I was used as a synagogue until 1938, when the Nazis stormed and imprisoned the entire community in concentration camps, eliminating in this way, the Jews of Cesky Krumlov. After the second war, I became Catholic, later in a tent Chapel. A few years ago, it was returned to the Prague Jewish community, which I restore it. It now operates as a Museum and there is a café with a garden and games for kids, a really quiet place, somewhat remote from the Centre, and with poquisima people.
